About the Quilting Bee 
The Quilting Bee is an interactive pixel art community, buzzingly full of members (called "bees") of all ages from all over the world! We were originally founded on February 18th, 2000 and have been evolving steadily ever since. Even though we love pixeling, we do not require any of our bees to be a pro at it! Our main focus is to be a fun and social club, so we accept members of all graphical skill levels. :)
We provide many activities and other fun things for members to do to motivate and advance their pixeling skills! If you love to pixel things, you will really enjoy our monthly pixeling challenges, where you can win awards! We also have non-pixeling activities like "blog-a-thons", story writing, holiday card exchanges, and many other things you can immerse yourself in to have fun and get to know your fellow bees.
Overall our club is made up of a large variety of members of all types and from several countries. You will enjoy making friends from and learning about other cultures. We are open and accepting to all! So what are you waiting for? JOIN TODAY!!
Hi, my name is Honey and I am the club mascot! Usually you can find me buzzing around the hive getting involved in all the activities, rewarding fellow bees with special prizes, or doing other secret things. *wink* So if you are a member, keep an eye out for me and I just might surprise you with something fun!
