Q*bee Tea Party Summer 2005 
In the summer of 2005 the quilting bee had a grand tea party, with the hopes of giving members the opportunity and excuse to get to know one another. The idea was that, by inviting each other to tea using special invitations (and telling each other about themselves in the process), we could create an extra special activity.
The following invite was given as an example:
Hello, this is the Quilting Bee.
Something that you may not know about us is that the Quilting Bee has been active for about 5 years! We started on February 18th, 2000!
The members, once they'd sent each other their invites, were to trade cups of tea. We received the following submissions:
